Hands Like Houses Tour

Hands Like Houses are riding high into 2019 and have unveiling the exhilarating new video for their latest single 'Sick'. A standout track from their fourth album -Anon, the video release comes ahead of the band's biggest headline run to date - kicking off in February and taking them nationwide, joined by special guests Ocean Grove, Endless Heights and RedHook.

A collective band and fan favourite, 'Sick' is a middle finger up to anyone who has taken advantage of you. This huge summer anthem has amassed over 712,000 streams since the album was released, filled with big riffs, a rousing chorus and tones reminiscent of 90s rock. Filmed in the Californian desert, the video follows the band cruising around the Mojave in an old convertible, capturing a wild and carefree energy intersected with moments of restlessness and intensity. Frontman Trenton Smith deconstructs the message, explaining "I think everyone knows the feeling of being taken advantage of - especially when you put yourself out for someone to have them want more. Sometimes you can walk away, and other times you just have to take it in your stride because you're focused on something bigger. Entitlement is bullshit but that's when you have to remember, with a wry grin, that other people don't control you."

After a year of career milestones in 2018 including the highly-coveted triple j Feature Album for -Anon, Hands Like Houses rounded out the year with an extensive run of dates across the UK, Europe and the USA, collectively performing to over 23,000 fans during their first international run in support of the album. Other highlights include their mammoth track 'Monster' surpassing 3.2 million streams and 564,000 YouTube plays, running in a major sync on FOX8, picked up as the WWE Super Show-Down official theme and supported by the NFL in the USA, plus the track was spotlighted in Amazon Music's 'Best of Rock 2018' list.

Hailing from Canberra, five-piece Hands Like Houses – Trenton Woodley (vocals), Alexander Pearson (guitar), Joel Tyrrell (bass), Matt Cooper (guitar), Matthew Parkitny (drums) – have spent the past decade thrilling audiences with their dynamic performances, sharing arena stages with heavyweights such as Bring Me The Horizon and A Day To Remember at home, to performing internationally alongside legendary acts including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice Cooper and Disturbed on Download Festival and Rock on the Range to name a few. With four albums under their belt, including two critically acclaimed Top 10 ARIA records, –Anon. which debuted at #4 and 2016's Dissonants at #7, the band have sold over 100,000 records worldwide and amassed over 106 million Spotify streams.
