2006 Golden Stave Luncheon - The Longest Lunch

The entertainment industry unites for the longest lunch of the year!

This year's 2006 Golden Stave Lunch is scheduled to be held on Friday, 30th June at Sydney's Hordern Pavilion with a 'dancing' theme with the entire cast of "Burn The Floor' opening the day, You Am I, Tap Dogs, John Paul-Young plus lots more surprises throughout the day!

Adam Spencer will be presiding as MC on the day, assisting the inimitable Michael Chugg on stage during the famous Golden Stave auction.

The Golden Stave Committee, on behalf of the Australian Music & Entertainment Industry is planning another great day of 'fun raising' for children's charities and, over the past 27 years, the fantastic amount of $8 million has been raised for various children's charities.

One of the highlights of the day is the auction, called by the one and only "Chuggi". This year's list is HUGE! Just a few of the items up for bids include:

2 Gold Tickets to U2's Sydney Concert including 'meet & greet' backstage;

a framed Fender Telecaster guitar autographed by The Rolling Stones together with 2006 "Bigger Bang" album poster and Sydney 2006 Set List, autographed 2006 Tour Program plus their CD and DVD catalogue!;

table of Ten at Star City, Sydney to the opening night of "Burn The Floor";

Yamaha acoustic guitar signed by multi platinum selling UK#1 Artist, James Blunt plus framed poster signed by James & #1 Album, "Back To Bedlam" - signed - plus #1 DVD/CD "Chasing Time" - The Bedlam Sessions";

The Wiggles pack including autographed Skivvy, Meet & Greet with The Wiggles, tickets to the Wiggles Big Show plus a selection of Wiggles Merchandise;
