Gold Coast Titans Auction

Gold Coast Titans Auction

A unique opportunity to be part of the Gold Coast Titans' NRL Nines campaign in Perth on 14-15 February is being auctioned to raise money for bushfire disaster relief.

In an online auction event ending this Wednesday night, the Gold Coast Titans are offering 18 lucky bidders the chance to have their names featured on the team's match jerseys for the NRL Nines.

Each jersey will be personally signed by the Titans player who wore it during the NRL Nines tournament, and then delivered to the winning bidder.

100% of proceeds from this campaign will be going towards the Salvation Army's Bushfire Disaster Appeal.

Titans Chief Executive Steve Mitchell said the Club wanted to contribute to the fund-raising effort with a unique opportunity for Titans fans.

"It was not that long ago that the Titans were supporting communities affected by bushfires in the Gold Coast hinterland and Scenic Rim areas, so we understand the terrible toll these fires have had on these communities in NSW and Victoria, and the people that call them home," Mr Mitchell said.

"We are proud to be involved in a joint effort between the NRL and other clubs to deliver funds and support to those affected, and to offer this opportunity for Titans fans to grab a unique piece of Club history as a way of supporting the cause."

Chief Operations Officer for Lloyds Auctions Lee Hames said this unique Titans auction was another example of Australians uniting to support the cause of bushfire relief.

"Lloyds Auctions are honoured and proud to be able to facilitate this opportunity for Titans fans, and to help people in need right now, so we encourage everyone to jump on and have a bid online," Mr Hames said.

"We think that joint efforts between the Gold Coast Titans and the NRL offer a unique opportunity for fans to help people in need throughout NSW and VIC. It goes to show there are many ways in which Australians can really come together to support each other in hard times."
