Fast, furious and fierce fishnet-clad women will be flying around on roller-skates on Saturday the 16th of April for the Gold Coast's first roller derby bout for 2011.

For the first time, the Gold Coast Roller Derby league has been invited to participate in the Oceania and Asia Pacific Skating Championships, as part of an 'exhibition' bout to showcase the nail biting, edge-of your seat entertainment that is roller derby.
