Give Cigarettes the Flick the FebFast way in 2015

Quit Victoria is supporting FebFast in 2015 and encouraging smokers to take a 28 day break from cigarettes.

Quit Victoria Cessation and Partnerships Manager, Luke Atkin, said Quit is pleased to provide FebFast participants with practical information and advice on quitting smoking, giving them a real opportunity to kick the habit.

'We are proud to be working with FebFast in 2015 and support participants who choose to take a break from smoking in 2015," Mr Atkin said.

'There is no doubt that taking this step can put smokers on a pathway to quitting for good.

'FebFast's success in inspiring Australians to take a 28 day break from alcohol and other bad habits shows what can be achieved with just a little discipline and a commitment to improve your health for the better.

'As we know, quitting smoking is never easy, but taking a 28 day break can provide an important -circuit breaker' on the way to kicking the habit for good."
