Girvan Waugh Randwick Guineas Day

Kick off St. Patrick's Day celebrations early at Royal Randwick! Irish passport holders will receive free entry to the track for themselves and a friend by presenting their international passport at the gate. Racegoers can enjoy the Guinness Green at the Octagonal Lawn with $5 tap Guinness, plus a -shamrockin' afternoon of entertainment with an Irish folk and cover band.

Watch trackside the running of the $600,000 Group 1 Girvan Waugh Randwick Guineas, the first race of the coveted Sydney three year old Triple Crown and a major event for top quality young gallopers striving to become the next big stars of the turf.

Equally unmissable is the $300,000 UNSW Todman Stakes. Attracting a quality field of two year olds, the race serves as a good indicator for the prestigious $3.5 million Tooheys New Golden Slipper.

Racegoers will also be joined trackside by Australian Turf Club ambassador and UNSW Alumnus, Edward Cummings.
