Today marks the start of Cancer Council's Girls Night In, an initiative that
raises funds for women's cancer research, prevention and support services. SingStar, the karaoke-inspired game exclusive to PlayStation, has joined forces with Cancer Council's Girls Night In for the second year running to help raise awareness for the cause.
This October, women from around the country will be called upon to host their own girls' night in, whereby guests are asked to donate the money they would have spent on a 'night out' to Cancer Council. Girls Night In is a fun and simple way to play a role in the quest to defeat women's cancers, whilst also providing an opportunity to celebrate valued friendships.
Since 2005, over 12,000 Girls Night In events have been held which have raised over $7 million. Bringing together friends and families of all ages, SingStar has become an essential component of a great night in and is the ideal option for any Girls Night In event.
