Tis' the season to be crafty with the German International School Sydney set to host a series of deliciously festive Christmas workshops on Saturday November 28th and Sunday November 29th.
What better way to embrace the Christmas spirit, then with little budding bakers and their parents spending hours of fun exploring their culinary creativity as they assemble and decorate their very own handcrafted gingerbread house, man or Christmas tree made out of stars! No lolly will be spared in the 90 minute workshops, set to be filled with sugar, spice and all things sweet and nice!
Now in its seventh year and growing in popularity, last year additional workshops were added by popular demand. The GISS is encouraging Sydneysiders to sign up early this year and avoid a Mr Scrooge (who is that?)- like disappointment. The three workshops will run at 11am, 1pm and 3pm daily and will be jam-packed with goodness and laughter for the entire family.
Christmas connoisseur and event organiser, Gillian Shakespeare will support each workshop, sharing delicious tips and tricks and inspiring participants in creating the most fantastical and scrumdiddlyumptious Christmas treat EVER.
'It's the ultimate fun, family activity for young and old and as everyone will get to take home their edible creation, it will be ready to take pride of place as the centrepiece on the Christmas Day table. That's of course if the delicious dwelling isn't gobbled up before then," says Gillian.
Bookings are essential for the 1.5 hour workshops which start at 11am, 1pm and 3pm each day.
