Gear Up Girl will be held on Sunday March 12, 2017.

This year we are aiming to set a world record for the largest women's community bike ride - meaning every rider will become a world record holder!!

Bicycle NSW is a not for profit, member based organisation. Gear Up Girl is a ride that is designed to celebrate ALL women and offer them the chance to roll along some of Sydney's most spectacular coastline to a fabulous finish line festival at Cronulla Beach.

Our charity partner for the event is the National Heart Foundation. Heart disease kills more than 3 x as many women as breast cancer. We want to get the message to as many women that just 30 mins of activity, like cycling, every other day can reduce the risk of heart disease by 40%.

It is a fantastic event and a celebration of women. It offers 3 ride distances and our events are never a race - they are a challenge and opportunity for every rider to feel a sense of achievement.

And kids ride FREE in all Bicycle NSW events, making them a great family day out.
