GANGgajang

The name GANGgajang came from a word play on the sound of a guitar being strummed -'gajang" and the idea of a band being a collective of creative individuals - a 'GANG".

Iconic Australian pop/rock band GANGgajang is set to make a welcome return to the live stage, with a series of shows around New South Wales in December, and two very special performances at the Woodford Folk Festival in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, Qld, December 29th and 30th.

GANGgajang formed in 1984, and through the -80s and -90s enjoyed prolific radio and sales success with many songs including House Of Cards, Gimme Some Lovin', Giver Of Life and Hundreds Of Languages. Their signature song Sounds Of Then (This Is Australia) is so well known that it is almost an alternative national anthem!
