Set simultaneously in contemporary London in a future metropolis ruled by religious fervor, Franklyn follows four lost souls: Preest (Ryan Philippe)- a masked vigilante detective, searching fro his nemesis on the streets of Meanwhile City; Esser (Bernard Hill) - a broken man searching for his wayward son amongst the rough streets of London's homeless, Milo (Sam Riley)- a heart broken thirty-something desperately trying to find a way back to the purity of first love and Emilia (Eva Green) - a beautiful art student who with her suicidal art projects are becoming increasingly more complex and deadly.

Divided by two parallel worlds, these four strangers are on course for an explosive collision when a single bullet will decide all their fates.
