Team them up with a knee length skirt and some coloured boots and voila - you have the punk/glam look of the 80's made popular by bold performers such as Madonna & Cyndi Lauper!

It seems as if fashion followers everywhere cannot shake the 80's bug that continues to sweep stores and boutiques across the globe. Popular in the fashion stakes are earrings of all shapes, colours and sizes from beads to diamantes and all that is gold and silver. The emphasis is definitely on jewellery and loads of it.

Low slung chunky belts, off-the-shoulder tops and sailor stripes are other essential items to have in your wardrobe, as are printed tees, lurex tops and heaps of leather. From beige, brown, red to white - leather clothes and accessories rock everywhere.

Stiletto boots are a must-have item and this season sees boots in some gorgeous shades including burgundy, camel, purple, red, crocodile print and the very versatile black. Another fashion era which designers are borrowing ideas from is the 1920's. Very stylish and sleek, we see a return to satin skirts; rosette detail on shoes and diamante encrusted chiffon. Wear these along with a slick-backed hairstyle, and you'll feel like the glamour-puss that you were meant to be.
