Face The Music 09 will provide musicians and music industry professionals with a range of career development and networking opportunities in a full day of interactive panel discussions, keynote presentations, one-on-one artist development interviews and practical workshops

Sessions will explore songwriting, self-management, audience development, publishing, touring, release management, recording, grants, distribution and much more.

This non-profit event is made possible by the contribution of over 60 music industry professionals, including high profile artists, booking agents, publishers, record label directors, music lawyers, publicists and artist managers, including Paul Dempsey, Drew Goddard (Karnivool), Steph Hughes and Lindsay Mcdougall (triple j), David Peacock (Shock Records), Megan Washington (Washington), Sam Cameron (Beat Broker), Charles Jenkins, Jen Cloher and Pez, amongst others.
