The charming historic town of Eumundi with its big wide main street and towering heritage-listed fig trees has developed into one of the jewels of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. A 'must do' for tourists visiting the Coast, Eumundi is well worth exploring every day of the week.

President of Eumundi Chamber of Commerce Barrie Adams says the launch of a new brochure 'Seven Days in Eumundi - the diary of an inquisitive traveller' highlights the wealth of things to do in this historic hinterland town.

Eumundi is also home to Discover Eumundi Heritage and Visitor Centre, hub of all the tourist information and filled with wonderful artefacts and information about the town's early days and development. Pick up a historical walk booklet and learn more about the many historic buildings constructed between 1890 and 1930.

Barrie says 'Seven Days in Eumundi- the diary of an inquisitive traveller' highlights the many fabulous events hosted in Eumundi, including the recent Australian Body Art Carnivale (14 - 16 May), the Eumundi Food Fest (27 June) , All Well & Good (11 September) and the SE Queensland Small Museum Conference (15 - 17 October).
