Emu Boots Keep Abreast This Mother's Day

EMU Australia, Australia's leading sheepskin manufacturer, has announced that their increasingly successful Boots for a Cure campaign will once again run in 2007 for Mothers Day.

EMU Australia, a Silver Partner of the National Breast Cancer Foundation aims to raise another $25,000 in 2007, with 100% of profits being donated to breast cancer research.

Commenting on the program, CEO of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, Sue Murray states, "We are delighted that EMU Australia are committed to the cause and willing to support breast cancer and assist in raising funds for vital research.

'Increasing the public's attention to an issue that affects one in 8 Australian women is so important," continues Ms Murray.

EMU will raise funds from the sale of their specially designed Travel Slipper sold through all major retail outlets in the lead up to Mother's Day, May 13th 2007. The special Travel Slipper is available in pink, olive and sand, and is made of 100% Australian wool and is sold in it's own pink tote bag.

The slippers will be available from April 1st till the end of May 2007 for RRP $24.95.

Last year, EMU Australia raised $25,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to help support breast cancer research, prevention and cure.
