What causes skin aging?
Oxidation damage from sun and the environment is believed to be the number one cause of skin aging. This damage affects the collagen and elastin resulting in the formation of lines and wrinkles, especially at the corners of eyes, and a decrease in skin firmness.


Why is the eye area more vulnerable to aging signs?
Because the skin around the eye area is very thin, it has more limited natural defenses against the outside world. It is the first place to show signs of sun and environmental damage: fine lines, crows feet, dark circles and puffiness.


How does Idebenone help the eye area?
PEVAGE™ Eye contains I-Seryl complex with Idebenone. Idebenone helps to neutralize free radicals that can cause damage to the structure of the skin leading to premature aging of the skin. Idebenone also helps to improve collagen and elastin production.
