ME/CFS Australia (Vic, Tas, NT) is a non-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing information, support and advocacy for people who have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
ME/CFS is holding a seminar on -Understanding and Supporting Young People Living With ME' on Thursday July 24 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
The seminar will provide a discussion about the signs and symptoms of ME, different management and treatment options, research findings and the precipitating factors of ME. A discussion about the different tips and strategies available to assist young people who have ME will be delivered at the seminar.
Teachers, school nurses, teacher aides, parents, carers, allied health professionals and young people are all encouraged to attend this seminar.
Dr Kathy Rowe an expert in ME/CFS at the Royal Children's Hospital, Psychologist Lisa Ellis and Carers Victoria Annie Keogh will all be delivering talks at the seminar.
This not to be missed seminar will take place at the Alfred Hospital Amrep Education Centre.
Students are encouraged to share this with their teachers, parents, family and friends.
