There's no better time for kids to get into the garden than during the Summer holidays. Eden Gardens North Ryde is offering new, fun and educational school holiday activities for 3-12 year olds, where kids can learn to preserve fascinating flowers, discover native blooms and be introduced to the joys of gardening.

Flowers Forever: One of the newest additions to the Eden Education program, Flowers Forever allows kids to explore the wonder of beautiful Summer flowers. Participants will pot a flowering annual; find out how to preserve plants by pressing; make their own mini flower press and create some pressed flower craft to take home.
Sessions for 5 - 7 year olds:
14 January, 10 - 11.30am
17 January, 10 - 11:30am and 12:30 - 2pm
Sessions for 8 - 12 year olds:
14 and 16 January, 12.30 - 2pm
Cost: $16 per child

Aussie Plants: Find out about Australian native plants in this brand new, fun and educational holiday program! Aussie Plants will see participants complete a 'native plant hunt', pot up a native plant to take home and make their own seed bomb to start a beautiful 'top secret' garden.
Sessions suitable for 5 - 7 year olds: 21, 24 and 25 January, 10 - 11.30am
Sessions suitable for 8 - 12 year olds: 21 and 24 January, 12.30 - 2pm
Cost: $16 per child

Little Green Thumbs - Summer: The perfect introduction to gardening, Little Green Thumbs allows carers to share in toddler's delight and explore the fascinating world of gardens and plants together. This fun session involves games, craft and gardening activities. Suitable for 3-5 year olds, who must be accompanied by an adult.
When: 18 and 21 January, 10 - 11am
Cost: $12 per child
