DIY Blind Installation

Installing blinds is often left to paid professionals and can take weeks to finalise. Blinds Online, is all about DIY and helping consumers install their own window furnishings!

What you'll need:
Cordless screwdriver
Metal tape measure
Pencil
All brackets and screws that arrived with your new blinds.

The installation process may vary slightly. But here's a basic guide:
Place the blinds and all necessary items beneath required windows
Hold bracket against architrave or inside the window reveal at the correct position e.g. for roller blinds these need to be at each end of the window
Place a screw on cordless screwdriver tip and screw into architrave/window reveal through hole in bracket (you will probably need two screws per bracket). Repeat for each bracket.
Slot the blind into the brackets until it clicks into place
Install child safety clips provided as per instructions with the blinds to hold cords and chains out of harm's way.
