Sydney's sophisticated social set will descend on Royal Randwick for the illustrious David Jones Australian Derby Day. The traditional black and white themed race day will host a star-studded crowd who this year will be part of history in the making as they celebrate the running of the 150th AJC Derby race.

Off the track, David Jones Derby Day plays host to Sydney's most glamorous Fashions on the Field competition. Royal Randwick Carnival Ambassador, Jodi Gordon, will be one of the influential members of the judging panel set to cast her style-spotting eye over the crowds, handpicking the winners of the three categories – Best Dressed Classic Racewear Female, Best Millinery and Best Dressed Classic Racewear Couple. With thousands of dollars' worth of prizes to be won, judges will be looking for poise, style and traditional monochromatic glamour.
