Australian apron company Crumbz is launching a range of beautiful yet practical gardening gloves and aprons in time for the festive season. The aprons come in a range of fabrics, as do the gloves, so can be bought as a matching set, or mixed with complementary fabrics. With
fabric extensions to the elbow to protect your forearm from sun and prickles, the gloves are popular with female gardeners. There is also a range of kids aprons and gloves in funky colours, for the little helpers.

Kay Trembath has been designing and making aprons under her Crumbz label since 2009, and opened a retail store in Healesville and an online shop to sell her aprons and an extensive range of gorgeous craft accessories in 2010.

The gardening aprons have been thoughtfully designed with a pocket for your trowel, or mobile phone and are a sensible length that won't get in the way. -I designed the aprons with the pocket because I know, as a keen gardener myself, the number of times I've put my phone or trowel down somewhere in the garden and lost it. And gloves that cover my arms are a joy to wear, and my customers regularly tell me they are now total converts! So be warned, once you've worn them, you'll never go back' said apron designer Kay Trembath.
