Digger Kelly (GARY SWEET) and son Jack (ASHLEY BRADNAM) are local carpenters, and with mumBetty (KRIS MCQUADE) doing the books, life could not be more simple and sweet for an honest and hardworking Australian family.

Digger and his crew have a long history of assured employment through local property developer Harry(STEVE BISLEY). But when Harry declares himself broke, its not just the Kelly family but the whole townthat finds themselves up the creek. On top of this, a new big city corporate developer enters the sceneheaded by Tiffany (BROOKE SATCHWELL), making for even more uncertain times and a communitydivided.

Seeing his chance to make his own way in the world, Jack decides the future is with Tiffany and setscourse for a head-on conflict with his dad Digger. With the town looking on, Jack and Diggers relationshipis tested to the end, but not without some hilarious twists and turns along the way.

Also starring Australian film veteran and favourite BRUCE SPENCE as Diggers mate and co-rugbycoach Singlet, SUBDIVISION highlights not only the ambitions of many Australian families, but also theoften and natural conflict between fathers and their sons as they start to create their own life path.
