Great accessories can make a man. Thanks to a bold new range of masculine frames designed exclusively for Specsavers by acclaimed menswear designer, Jeff Banks, your man can now look even sharper!
The 26-piece eyewear collection takes inspiration from the classic styles of the 1950s and 1960s with a contemporary twist. With sharp metal, silver detailing and herringbone designs,
The Jeff Banks collection offers high quality, up-market product without the expensive price tag to match.
Fashion force and Specsavers ambassador Jeff Banks gives women advice on what to look out for when helping their man with a wardrobe workout:
Easy charmer - The overall mood for this spring summer season is effortless style. This doesn't need to mean board shorts on date night but a style thats more relaxed, while still on trend. Smart is still in but has an unforced and more natural look and feel.
Colour Reinvention - Many men are colour blind and can't differentiate between certain colours but that doesn't mean men should stay away from colours. You can help introduce base colours of blue, grey and dark green to your man, peppered with some bright, rich colours oranges and reds are the favourites this season.
It's a shoe thing - Shoes can make or break men. But remember men dont need to have lots of pairs like many women _ just a few nice pairs that can be mixed and matched for different occasions. Make sure your man has a pair of classy smarts, modern trainers and beach shoes, as a minimum in his wardrobe.
Belted - One of the more overlooked areas of mens dressing is the relationship between belts and shoes. Belts and shoes should not actually match, they should complement each other. They should work together visually but not match so closely that it looks like you purchased them as a set.
Accessorising - It's not just women that benefit from a great accessory. Think stylish cufflinks, a great hat and sophisticated frames to bring that extra edge and finish to any look. Right now frame styles with sharp metals, wood effects and detailing are leading the trend and are features I have incorporated into my new JB Collection for Specsavers.
