Nature Care College

Nature Care College

When Bonnie Brooks and Rod Brennan acquired Nature Care College in 1993, they never dreamed it would be as successful as it is today. More than 30 years after its founding in 1973 by Catherine McEwan, Nature Care College is the leading institution for natural therapy training in Australia. The college is the only private education provider in NSW to offer degrees in complementary medicine including Bachelor of Naturopathy, Bachelor of Homoeopathy and Bachelor of Herbal Medicine.

With a faculty exceeding 150 people, and a student body of approximately 3000, Nature Care Colleges success is a testament to societys acceptance of complementary medicine. Nature Care College was founded at a time when natural therapy practice was not recognised as a serious and legitimate profession. Director Rod Brennan has seen society evolve with the times. He says, I have witnessed the skepticism towards complementary medicine slowly change to a wider acceptance over the years. People have opened their minds to the possibilities of natural healing not only as a form of health preservation but as a career path.
