Cobra Man Heatwave

Cobra Man Heatwave

Pioneers of modern-day 'Los Angeles Power Disco', Andy Harry and Sarah Rayne, known as Cobra Man, release a new single and video for 'Heatwave'. Directed by Andy himself, the accompanying video tells the familiar tale of being trapped in lockdown. "We didn't know this song would be such a hellish prophecy when we wrote it last year." Andy explains, "It's about someone being stuck in a shitty apartment during a heatwave. It's a story about being desperate for comfort and safety."

'Heatwave' was produced at Domino studio in Downtown LA by an all-star team, including Foster the People's Isom Innis and Cobra Man's Andy Harry, with topline contributions from legendary pop singer Bonnie McKee (who co-wrote five of Katy Perry's No. 1 singles). The track was mixed by Lars Stalfors (St. Vincent, Cold War Kids) and mastered by Grammy Award-Winning Engineer, Steve Fallone (Tame Impala, Kasey Musgraves, The Strokes).

Cobra Man has formed a cult following in the skateboarding world, becoming known for their high energy spectacle shows and apocalyptic power disco anthems. Famously producing the soundtracks for the Worble Skate Crew's full-length film's New Driveway and Toxic Planet. The soundtracks, released by Goner Records, have been featured in Thrasher Magazine, Adult Swim, Vice, as well as multiple films and TV shows, including the new release of High Fidelity.

Defined by the 80's and 90's rock, old disco and electronic, Cobra Man's music centers on the ethos that "The world might be ending tomorrow, so let's go full speed tonight". Cobra Man's debut album is due to be released in 2021.
