Australian culinary darling Maggie Beer will return to sunny Townsville this winter with a star-studded line-up of the country's finest chefs to host the Chefs in the North dinner, the sumptuous prelude to the prestigious Australian Festival of Chamber Music.

Together with ABC Classic FM presenter Damien Beaumont, the pair will host the fine food and fine music event of the year where chefs from across Australia join chefs from Townsville's best restaurants collaborating to create a superb five-course degustation menu presented on the lawns of Jupiters overlooking Magnetic Island.
