Environmentally savvy Australian brand Cheeki has just launched its new Straw Lid Sports Bottles, designed for sporty and active people on the go. This innovative product from Australia's leading stainless steel water bottle brand offers a hygienic and eco-friendly alternative to plastic water bottles.

This latest addition to the Cheeki range sees stainless steel Sports Bottles with straws that extend right to the bottom of the bottle, which means that you don't have to lift the bottle up vertically - instead you simply sip the straw in order to get a fast and uninterrupted water flow.

Cheeki's new Straw Lid Sports Bottles also feature a flip top lid with a generous 2cm opening. When the lid is removed this bottle has a huge 5.32cm opening which allows ice to be easily added to your drink.

The environmental argument against plastic is a long standing and growing. Plastic is made from toxic chemicals that cause air pollution, and then take hundreds of years to decompose, filling up our oceans and clogging up our landfills. Cheeki aims to encourage a significant reduction in the consumption of disposable plastic bottles and paper cups through its BPA-free range of stainless steel products.

As with all Cheeki products, the new Sports Bottles are made out of a premium grade of stainless steel known as Grade 304 or 18/8 and contain no linings so they are safe to clean without risk of leaching chemicals. Reusing common plastic containers and bottles can cause the plastic to break down and leach those toxic chemicals back into your drinking water.
