This Christmas, for the first time ever, one of Sydney's most iconic buildings will form the backdrop for an unbelievable sight. The cavernous central dome of the Queen Victoria Building, home to the iconic QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree, will be transformed into a giant, real life snow dome as snow falls from the ancient stained glass ceiling.
Proving that sometimes seeing really is believing, snow will cascade beautifully onto the 24-metre tall QVB Swarovski Christmas Tree during select times every Thursday (6pm), Saturday and Sunday (on the hour at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm) from 17th November - 2nd December. The snowfall will enchant children as they wait to sit on Santa's knee and stop busy shoppers and CBD workers in their tracks, reminding them of the magic of Christmas.
