NAIDOC Week, or National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee, is an important annual event that celebrates Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements. The theme of NAIDOC Week this year is 'Unsung Heroes - Closing the Gap by Leading their Way'. Bunjilaka is proud to present an exciting program that celebrates Indigenous contributions to Australian society.

From Little Things Big Things Grow: Fighting for Indigenous Rights 1920-1970
This exhibition tells the story of a group of Australians, Indigenous and non-Indigenous, who worked together to fight for justice for Aboriginal people.

Jacky Jacky in the Box
First performed in 2008, Jacky Jacky in the Box is a confronting performance art installation that challenges audiences to think about their perceptions of Indigenous Australia as an anthropological curiosity.

Milarri Garden and Forest Gallery Cultural Interpretation Tours
Join Bunjilaka's Aboriginal guide as they explore the Milarri Garden and Forest Gallery's specifically designed South Eastern Australia Indigenous garden.
Tours run from 4-8 July and 10-11 July at 1pm and 3pm.
