Buddha's Birthday Festival

The final feature of the current Darling Harbour Culture Beats program will see a massive weekend celebration of Buddha's Birthday from 9.00am-5.00pm on Saturday-Sunday 9-10 May at Tumbalong Park.

Marking the birth of the founder of Buddhism, Shakyamuni Buddha, the Darling Harbour Culture Beats event will include Buddhist exhibitions, ceremonies, performances, arts and crafts as well as vegetarian food stalls.

Presented by cultural groups from around NSW in partnership with Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Darling Harbour Culture Beats is a FREE celebration of Australia's cultural diversity. The Culture Beats 2015 program has been operating on various weekends since February with Chinese, Thai, Armenian and a myriad other cultures celebrated at Darling Harbour.
