Briggs at 2016 St Kilda Festival

The City of Port Phillip is proud to announce Australian rapper, lyricist and hip hop artist Briggs is joining the 2016 St Kilda Festival line up. Renowned within the Australian music industry for his albums The Blacklist and Sheplife, Briggs' thought provoking style and lyrics are traditional, paying homage to his Yorta-Yorta heritage that represents a long line of leaders and story tellers with a modern sound and hiphop fusion uniquely Australian.

Briggs joins St Kilda Festival on Sunday 14 February 2016, replacing Gurrumul, and will be performing a number of Gurrumul songs in tribute to the artist who is no longer able to perform due to health reasons.
