A celebration of African music, from ancient songs to contemporary fusion at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne on Sunday 30 August Over 350 voices will fill Hamer Hall with songs, stories, music and dance featuring the Boite Millennium Chorus and a stellar line-up of supporting artists.
The Boite Millennium Chorus has been wowing audiences for the past 18 years and is set to do it again with more than 350 singers, including eight regional choirs for One Africa, a concert at Hamer Hall, Arts Centre Melbourne on Sunday 30 August.
Special guests include EMMY Award winner and musical director of the multi-GRAMMY Award winners, the Soweto Gospel Choir, Jimmy Mulovhedzi (South Africa) along with Ajak Kwai (Sudan), Bouly Sonko (Senegal), Oumy Sene Sonko (Senegal), Tariro Mavondo, King Bell and the Burundi Drummers Group Of Victoria.
