Blaze Aid for the Plains

Legendary Australian singer-songwriter, John Schumann, and his band the Vagabond Crew, are to give a rare South Australia performance at 'Blaze Aid for the Plains" at the Long Plains Oval/Sporting Complex on Sunday, December 13.

'Blaze Aid for the Plains" is an opportunity for South Australians to show their support for the 90 or so families who lost their homes, farming land, machinery and stock in the recent bushfire fire.

Designed to raise funds and spirits, 'Blaze Aid for the Plains" began as very small community event which the locals dubbed 'The Big Hug". It has since grown to a much larger event at the Long Plain Sporting Complex with many individuals, groups and organisations volunteering their time, energy and resources.
