In a world's first, a brand new Australian Essential Oil has been discovered and commercially released. Made from the leaves of a rare plant found nestling deep inside the Australian bush in an isolated pocket of northern NSW, the new oil, -Rose Myrtle' is now available in Australia.
'We are absolutely thrilled to announce the launch of a brand new Australian essential oil. Since first stumbling across this rare plant, the harvesting and production of -Rose Myrtle' has been years in the making," said
Mr Greg Trevena, the founder and operator of essential oil company, Essentially Australia.
Mr Trevena, a self-confessed -self-taught' botanist and Australian essential oil specialist said it was his love of the Australian Bush and its flora and fauna that lead him to his unique discovery.
'I began harvesting native plants back in the late 1990's, using them to make beautiful rainforest food products which lead me into exploring essential oils. As a result, I am very proud to announce the launch of a new Australian Essential Oil that complements the existing range of the much-loved and popular Australian oils such as eucalyptus, tea tree and lemon myrtle," said Mr Trevena.
Mr Trevena said Rose Myrtle has a unique and complex scent, unlike any other existing Australian essential oil. It has a citrus lemon top note, with a deliciously appealing hint of fruit and rose which makes it the perfect oil to add a beautiful mood-enhancing fragrance to your home.
'Rose Myrtle offers a fresh, uplifting aroma to generate a feeling of positivity and well-being. Its medicinal properties include acting as a mood enhancer, increasing positivity and reducing depression," said Mr Trevena.
'Burn Rose Myrtle in an oil diffuser to enjoy an uplifting fragrance in any room in the home, mix with purified water in a handy spray, or add a few drops to an oil burner while in a bath for a sublime unwind at the end of a long day," he said.
