Atlanta Eke – Body of Work

For Dancehouse's Dance Massive program in 2015, choreographer and dancer Atlanta Eke will present a full-length version of her 2014 Keir Choreographic Award commissioned piece, Body of Work. Eke's performance throughout the work operates as an allegory of how the -present' is constituted by the rewriting of the past. Through analysing the -present' as a loop, Body of Work unfolds as an infinite present, a present always already there and continuing on into the unknown future.
