An Evening with Susan Sarandon

Adding further gravitas to a night of brilliant conversation and inspiration, Eventcepts is excited to announce Carrie Bickmore as host for An Evening with Susan Sarandon.

Carrie Bickmore, host and Gold Logie winner for Network TEN's The Project is an inspirational leader in her own right. Founder of Carrie's Beanies 4 Brain Cancer and Australian Ambassador for UNICEF, Ms Bickmore couldn't be better suited for the role. Sharing the stage and in conversation with one of Hollywood's most fearless leading women, Ms Bickmore is looking forward to the event: 'I'm very excited to hear all about Susan, I have always been inspired by her approach to life and career".

The evening presentation is one of two events La Dolce Italia is presenting with the Academy Award winning actor, passionate activist, writer and director, and is set to showcase all of the style, grace and determination that has seen Ms. Sarandon become as respected for her social activism as her film career.

In addition to conversation between Ms Bickmore and Ms Sarandon, the floor will be open to questions from the audience, providing a significant opportunity for guests to interact with the Hollywood legend.

In a recent interview with Australian media Ms Sarandon explained: 'I usually prefer, no matter what the venue, to have a dialogue rather than speaking at people. It gives me an opportunity to hear what people are thinking, what they're curious about and what's going on in worlds that I don't travel in that often."

The Evening will be a night of stories, insight and laughter. Susan's illustrious career has spanned over 50 years and includes notable films such as The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Thelma & Louise and Dead Man Walking.
