This free outdoor event encourages Melburnians to try something new and explore their creative potential with a team of inspiring artists. TaikOz will provide the festival soundtrack and teach the rhythmic art of drumming on a range of African and Japanese drums. Festival goers can find their own beat, join a group session or simply watch a demonstration by these exciting performers.

For those who have always marvelled at the talents of big top performers, the National Institute of Circus Arts will be sharing their ringside talents, giving people the opportunity to have fun with the diablo, plate
spinning and juggling.

Visitors can also discover their inner artist with easels and art materials available for people to try their hand at painting. Professional artists will provide guidance and, for the first 1,000 canvases painted, American Express will donate $25 to Mission Australia to help disadvantaged young people realise their potential.
