A legion of amaysim staff will take to the streets outside Wynyard Station on Thursday 20 March, to spread happiness to early morning commuters – in the form of fresh flowers, coffee and bus tickets – in celebration of the United Nations' 2nd Annual International Day of Happiness.
Coordinated by Action for Happiness, a non-profit movement of people from over 140 countries, the UN's International Day of Happiness is a global celebration encouraging an increased focus on human happiness and wellbeing as a measure of progress.
Ged Mansour, spokesperson for the low cost mobile service provider amaysim, says getting behind the day is about ensuring the company 'walks the talk" when it comes to making people happier.
'From our inception just over three years ago, amaysim has always believed in giving Aussies choice when it comes to mobile plans and putting a spring in their step.
'Today's activity in Sydney is a small gesture, something for amaysim staff to get involved with and have some fun with, a chance to put a smile on people's dials to celebrate the International Day of Happiness," Mansour concluded.
