Allergies

Allergies

Does it seem to you that almost every little baby born today suffers from some kind of allergy? Some are not much more than an aggravation, while other can be literally life-threatening.

There are endless varieties of allergies, most of which are impossible not only to diagnose but to -cure' as well. The causes of allergies and immune systems disease have not been conclusively determined, but there are some who feel strongly that childhood vaccinations lay the foundation for autoimmune diseases and other disorders of the immune system. Orthodox medicine has no cure for allergies – only treatment, most of which is less than satisfactory and sometimes worse than the problem itself.

Millions of patients have received allergy shots over the past fifty years, but there are no long-term studies to determine possible neurologic or other types of consequences of this rather experimental treatment.

The September 1989 issue of The American Chiropractor cites a three-year study of 107 individuals who had been under chiropractic care for five years or more. The chiropractic patients 'were found to have 200% greater immune competence than people who had not received chiropractic care and 400% greater immune competence than people with cancer and other serious diseases. The superiority of those under chiropractic care did not diminish with age!"

All illnesses are upsetting in the least and deadly at the worst. We know that allergies can make life miserable for some people. The short-term method of relief offered by the medical professions is both controversial and dangerous and its long-term effects are untested. Sometimes plain old common sense needs to prevail. Often recommended is a twofold approach. One, to avoid, if possible, those substances that cause severe reactions; and two, to correct the basic causes, which is the malfunction of your immune system.
