All eyes will be on Sydney's Custom's House at 12.30pm, Wednesday 13th April, when Westfield stages the nation's biggest ever runway show in celebration of the official launch of westfield.com.au, Australia's first online 'one-stop' shopping mall.
Held outside in the forecourt, style commentator and doyenne of Australian fashion, Melissa Hoyer, will host the free fashion extravaganza that will see 100 models star on the runway, showcasing looks from 80 retailers available on westfield.com.au. A crowd of 200 invited guests will attend alongside members of the public.
The show will culminate in a spectacular finale as an Australian-born international fashion darling leads the largest group of models ever assembled in Australia down the 50 metre catwalk against the iconic Customs House backdrop. 2011 CLEO BACHELOR Top 50 Nominees will also join the fashion-history making moment, which will break last year's record for the biggest ever parade.
The meticulously crafted show directed by Jonathan Nicholls, will feature 100 models of all shapes and sizes, 38 of which are winners of a modelling competition hosted by westfield.com.au (including a major prize winner from each state/territory).
Everything from Autumn Winter fashions to swimwear will be on show, including a special children's wear section.
