Alise Willis Echoes

Stunning actress Alise Willis is set to co-star as 'Meg' opposite Michelle Monaghan in the upcoming Netflix thriller-drama series "Echoes" which is set to premiere on Friday, August 19^th. She also currently stars as series regular 'Lacey' in the BET and Tyler Perry-produced drama series "Ruthless", set to return later this year. She also had an iconic role as 'The Bathing Girl' in Netflix's COMING 2 AMERICA (2021), the sequel to the iconic COMING TO AMERICA film starring Eddie Murphy.  

 

Netflix's "Echoes" follows identical twins 'Leni' and 'Gina' (Monaghan) who have secretly swapped their lives back-and-forth since they were children, culminating in a double life as adults. But when one sister disappears, both of their lives start to fall apart and everything in their perfectly schemed world turns into chaos. Willis plays 'Meg', Leni's best friend who has been burdened by her friend's indiscretions, ultimately revealing her own secrets as she searches for the truth of where 'Leni' has gone.  

 

"Ruthless," the fan-favorite one-hour drama series by Tyler Perry for BET+, is a spinoff of "The Oval" and follows 'Ruth Truesdale' (Melissa L. Williams) as she's forced to play nice with a scandalous religious cult of powerful sex crazed fanatics in the hopes of freeing herself and her daughter. Alise Willis plays young cult member 'Lacey' who becomes obsessed with escaping and is in love with 'Oliver' (Stevie Baggs, Jr.), a handsome man in the cult.  

Born in Joliet, Il, Alise Willis got her first big break in the fashion industry as a model, signing with international agency Ford Models. Immediately after graduating high school, she took a huge leap by moving to New York City, where her career flourished as she graced countless runways, shot campaigns, and appeared in numerous magazines for top designers and major brands. Her work soon afforded her opportunities to live and work throughout Europe and South Africa, where she called home for two years and instilled a lifelong love for travel – some of her favorite places being Venice, Brazil, Thailand, and Cape Town. Embedded in this journey, was her ever-growing passion for acting, making it a priority in her life by invariably studying, training, and strengthening in different techniques. After several years abroad, her career focus in acting compelled her to take flight to Los Angeles, where all of her talents could come into play as she immediately secured representation and began booking roles in TV and film including ABC's "Mixed-ish", Paramount's "68 Whiskey", Netflix's COMING 2 AMERICA, and "Sorry for Your Loss". Alise Willis looks to actor-producer hyphenates such as Kerry Washington, LaKeith Stanfield, and Dwayne Johnson as influences with careers she admires, and hopes to put her kick-boxing training into action as a Superhero on screen one day.

Alise Willis leads an active lifestyle, doing Pilates 6 times a week, and attributes her spirituality as an active force in her life. She is also passionate about giving back and has been active in the non-profit House of Ruth, which provides assistance to battered women with children.
