Family Sundays: Winter Fantasy & Fables

Shake off the winter chill in this fun-filled day exploring fantasy and fables through games, performance and song!

There is no need for families to be Frozen this August with the series of free activities on offer for ACMI's Winter Fantasy & Fables Family Sunday.

Dance and sing-along with Kid's Karaoke to your favourite fairy-tale anthems, and watch winter classics on the giant Lightwell screen.

Audiences can enter the world of fables as they dress as brave knights or fairy-tale princesses and explore a winter wonderland through the magic of greenscreen technology.

Family Sundays: Smart Stories

3 Sep 11am – 4pm

Let the power of your imagination take you on a journey to a world of wonder through storytelling!

Everyone has a story to tell, and ACMI's Smart Stories Family Sunday is the chance to tell yours.

Families can hear from the experts with chances to meet and greet award-winning children's authors and illustrators on the ACMI Lightwell stage.

Audiences can learn to generate their own choose-your-own adventure narrative with Twine, and write and animate their own simple storybook adventure with hand-drawn images and iPads.
