Filmmakers and surf lovers around the world are putting the finishing touches on their films as the deadline for submissions to the 2012 Yallingup Surfilm Festival fast approaches.

Closing on Saturday 1 October 2011, entry into the Western Australian Festival is open to anyone wishing to share their love of surf and its culture through either short of feature length films.

Thanks to new sponsors Media Movers, entrants now also have the chance to win 1000 EcoDisks. These DVDs have all the same advantages of a regular DVD, but have an entirely toxic free bonder and take 50 percent less energy to produce, supporting the Festival's commitment to preserving the natural environment and increasing environmental and social awareness.
