The Bicycle NSW Spring Cycle is Sydney's premier recreational cycling event for families and cycling enthusiasts.

Part of the 2011 Sydney Rides Festival, the event is for Sydneysiders who enjoy being active, social and outdoors on weekends, participants of this year's event will be able to choose between two routes:

The advanced riders - including Ironman Champion Guy Leech - will be the first group to leave North Sydney at 6.30am for the Classic Ride to Sydney Olympic Park. This year, all Spring Cycle participants will be able to travel FREE on CityRail trains and Sydney Ferries to and from the event.

Children aged younger than 5 years will be permitted FREE entry to the 2011 Bicycle NSW Spring Cycle, and the cost of entry per child aged 5-16years is $15. General admission fees for the Classic Ride start at $60 per adult and $135 for a family of two adults and two children. City Ride general admission entry starts at $30 per adult and $75 per family.


Online entries will close at 4pm on Thursday 13 October, and $5 from each adult / family entry will be donated to the entrant's pick of three 2011 Spring Cycle beneficiary charities - the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the Amy Gillett Foundation or the Bicycle NSW Environmental Trust.
