This is a triennial Symposium and is the most important gathering of Australian health professionals who are involved in Military Medicine and Veterans' Health in 2010. The previous symposia attracted 600 delegates from around the world and this will give delegates an opportunity to share in the latest advances and issues in all the disciplines associated with management of trauma in combat and disaster situations, as well as broadening this to the long term health effects.
