$10 March Madness at Moonlight Cinema

oonlight Cinema has announced that they will be offering $10 tickets to the full March film program. The fun is far from over in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth for Moonlight's last month of the season, with more advanced screenings, the new generation of cult classics, and the return of your favourite summer films.

 

Moonlight Cinema is the perfect way to spend the last of those warm evenings, with $10 tickets to all screenings these are movie bargains not to be missed. So soak up the last stretch of summery evenings with Moonlight and their March program.

 

For all of you who haven't seen the hottest film of the year, Moonlight is offering up two chances to catch Fifty Shades of Grey under the stars. On Sunday 15 March and Sunday 29 March, literature student Anastasia Steele's life changes forever when she meets handsome, yet tormented, billionaire Christian Grey.

 

Get in loser, we're going shopping. Actually we're heading to Moonlight to see Mean Girls for a serving of satire on Wednesday 25 March. Join Cady and the Plastics for one of the most quotable movies that broke the high school comedy barrier. Instead of a picnic, why not bake a cake made of rainbows and smiles, and we'd all eat it and be happy. It will be totally fetch!

 

Stay on the high school social scene on Friday 13 March with Moonlight's screening of one of the new generation cult classics, Clueless. On Tuesday 17 March join all-girl a cappella group The Bellas for a rendition of the latest  musical comedy favourite Pitch Perfect. Moonlight is offering fans the opportunity to tune their pipes in preparation for group's return later this year.

 

Audiences can expect even more advanced screenings at Moonlight in March. Once you've left the office get down to business for the preview screening of Vince Vaungh's latest comedy Unfinished Business on Tuesday 3 March. For a touch of glam on your Friday night Moonlight presents Dior & I. After a hugely successful stint on the festival circuit this fashion doco comes to Moonlight for an advanced screening on Friday 20 March.

 

On Thursday 14 March head to Moonlight with the kids for Home. Jim Parsons and Rihanna lead the star studded lineup of DreamWorks' latest computer-animated buddy comedy film. Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? That's right SpongeBob has finally made his way to the big screen. On Friday 27 March Moonlight will present an advanced screening of everyone's favourite sponge with The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out Of Water.

 

With the Oscars less than a week away, Moonlight is bringing the world's best cinema to Australia's biggest outdoor cinema. With five Oscar nominations, including Best Performance for Eddie Redmayne, The Theory of Everything will screen on Sunday 8 March. With six nominations Clint Eastwood's American Sniper reappears on the Moonlight program on Sunday 22 March. Beating both films to the punch is Michael Keaton's Birdman on Thursday 5 March. With nine Oscar nominations, Keaton plays a washed-up actor who once played an iconic superhero.
